MARK ZUCKERBERG AUCTIONS OFF FACESMASH AND ANNOUNCES NEW FEATURES ON FACEBOOK

In the news today , Mark Zuckerberg's first Facebook, prototype Facesmash that he began in 2003 is up for auction on Flippa. Speculators are wondering if this is legitimate, but for a mere $8000 some another marketing genius may be able to turn it into something golden. Mashables, Lauren Indvik points out when mentioning the fact that there are no bids as of yet, "that's not terribly surprising, given the kind of hassle any business built on the site is likely to attract from Facebook's lawyers". I wonder if it would attract more bidders on Ebay?
Facebook announced today some pretty tasty new features that will be coming up pretty soon. New groups, more app control, better data portability and my favorite, the ability to download on your computer everything you have ever posted on Facebook. Just like when you look at your old journals from way back when, you'll be able to access all of your old Facebook posts and say, " Wow, i can't believe i actually wrote that then, it sounds so stupid now". * Sigh *
