Will Facebook groups keep me on Facebook for a longer amount of time or a shorter period of time? One of my issues is poor time management, so i hope it means i will spend less time on Facebook. I leave it on all day, except for when i sleep -- but, that doesn't mean it use all day. I'm not necessarily going to use groups until i see exactly how it works. Then i will make my mind up about how much i "like" it. Another one of my issues is that i like to be popular. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I certainly hope that i will be asked to join alot of groups and if i chose to create a group myself i will have alot of followers. Mark thinks that Facebook groups will solve the biggest problem with social networking today. I'm not quite sure what he means by that statement because he doesn't explain in clear enough terms exactly what the problem is. Is he purposely being vague so the mystery of the solution will be something users will want to figure out, therefore making the starting up of groups immediately successful? Well, that certainly makes me curious. That's another one of my defects of character (being obsessively curious) but, it can also be an attribute of mine. I did snicker a little at the part of the article, when Ben Parr writes, "What if someone wants to create a group for all of San Francisco? How about a group for all of Facebook"? Oh yeah, and i "like" sarcasm a lot, maybe a bit too much ...
